Seeds of Life
From the moment of birth, we begin to sow
We plant the seeds for our children to grow
We teach them to feed from mothers breast
They quickly learn how to feed by request
Bring them toys that teach them to think
Hands and feet soon are in sync
They run, play, and make us worry
Little bodies always in such a hurry
They have the sunshine in them from birth
A ready smile like nothing on earth
We teach them to think, read and to write
Show them excitement and our delight
They are so perfect full of love and light
Where then do they learn the hate and spite?
Who put negative thoughts in their heads?
Like melting ice how quickly, it spreads
