He's taking the plunge
So certian there's no going back,
One moment of fun
In the sunlight he lacks.
He's made his choice,
See his determined grin.
Drowning out the noise,
Watching his world tailspin.
She is watching is silence,
Praying for the rain,
Observing his stance
And the obvious pain.
Will he make the leap?
Still learning to fly,
The girl's playing for keeps.
He can't watch her cry.
Taking a step towards the edge,
The wind wraps around,
Filled with a sudden dread
She throws herself to the ground.
No more she takes,
Giving up on her love,
His faces starts to break
And rain falls from above.
Fractured and shattered
Relationships fail,
Pretend like it doesn't matters
But they're living in hell.
