with greed filled eyes
opened a present
with nothing inside
her melowful facade
faded to anger
she threw the colorful box
and pointed a finger
hells gate were opened
the earth split and cracked
her true self took control
she couldn't hold back
frustrated eyes
stabbed her lover
he stated in confusion

she ignored his comment
it wasn't he who she loved
she loved what he could give her
and never considered
the box was filled with love
