Forty two seconds to Ground Zero,
But no plane will crush a hero.
It takes only one man to destroy a place,
To torture and destroy, and make disgrace,
But no man will tear down the faith of a City,
No man will destroy their soul.
Twenty two seconds to Ground Zero,
But nobody will ever truly know.
So many bombs will break down a wall,
So many lives will take a fall,
But only the stories of survivors could tell,
What really happened on that fatal day.
Standing here on Ground Zero,
With all the damage below.
Buildings have crumbled, and people have died,
Only God knows, how this city has cried,
The screams of terror still linger here,
Everyday, On Ground Zero.
