**My response to the poem that was written for me, "What She Asked Him"**
Once you asked, "what do you say to this thing called love,
Where your heart finally meets god above?"
I would say, "Thank you god for this angel that touched my soul;
For giving me someone who makes me whole".
I'm glad my feelings have reached that point of no return.
I'll step into the flames of love and I know I won't get burned.
I want to hold your hand, I wanna hold on tight.
I wouldn't ever let go no matter how big the fright.
I'll always remember the promise you felt you needed to make:
To give more than you shall ever take.
But now there is a promise that I have to make:
To keep giving no matter how much or little you take.
I am yours and I'm happy to know you're also mine.
Let's make this love live on until the end of time.
