Those words ring through my head
Many a times that's what she said
"You can always talk to me"
No matter what the time of day
My mum always had something to say
"I want you to do your best"
Mum always wanted the best for me
I had to work hard because life isn't easy
"Never let someone push you around"
She taught me to stand up for what I believe
To always strive and to always achieve
"You can be whatever you want to be"
Mum told me to keep an open mind
And one day a great job I"ll find
"I will always love you"
Mum's love was always pure and true
Well mum...I will always love you too!
