(I tried to counter my other poem "My non-existent love-life" because I have one now. I just couldn't help the rhyme in the third stanza. My bf's name is Tak, heh heh. Enjoy!)
Where in the world did I go right?
How did I manage to escape "alone?"
Romance finally chose me,
Love is no longer postponed.
I'm the life of the party,
no longer hidden behind shadows.
A unique piece of decor,
A rose in a daisy meadow.
I'm always giving away love,
Karma finally gave me some back.
In form of a boy, one very dear to me,
a wonderful guy named Tak!
I don't need the beauty, he has it all.
Along with the confidence, humor, and personality.
While other's fantasies crossed into existence,
Mine also became a sweet reality.
