Stress causing our foundation to slip
Energy sent in waves and the earth moves
Balance unstable, confusion heightened
Like the footfalls of a giant, tremors hit
A sense of fear runs through our bodies

Our vision clouds, and terror explodes
Eyes blinded and our judgment impaired
No sense of where to go for safety
Unseeingly we move forward in hope
Present danger is felt our skin tingles

Mouth opens and fire spews forth
Like fireworks it can be seen for miles
A beauty in the night as energy is released
Waves of heat can be felt by passers by
Our heart pounds as skin burns

Rocks turn into a molten river of fire
Quickly moving, destroying our escape
In awe we watch and feel the heat
It's beauty mesmerizes us to stillness
Overcome we stare into the eyes of the source

The beast reached it's peak it's energy spent
Fire no longer shoots from his mouth
The tongue of the flames no longer lick the skin
Lungs take in air, our voice returned
No longer a danger the excitement has passed

Now it's stone, solid ground balance regained
Vision has cleared, heart beat stabilized
No longer motivated by fear, or panic
Sadly living with the heartache and loss

Natural disaster or Loves burning course?
