Beneath a brick wall collapsed
under the weight of the world, losing hope
falling faster into oblivion
like a black hole has opened, sucking me
to the ends of the universe- and the stars
never seemed so
dim
in the dull twilight of a lifeless
canyon- where i lay staring, staring at
the moon, up to where i'll
be soon (and i wonder will my family
remember me)
not once in my life did the sun
look as eclipsed as
today
and this black hole becomes
the resting place of my body underneath
your feet- hello stranger, welcome
(please make sure to wipe your feet
upon my chest)
and as this life once looked so bright
i say hello, i bid farewell, good
night
