If you believe in the light of the sun
Stare at its rays for a bit longer -
I would like for you to tell me...
How does it make your love stronger?
Would you say it's all because of you,
that you're the believer, the one I'd pursue?
or would you swear to me that you care..
both when the sun rises & when it's not there?
If you waited on the sun to set...
After making sure, our love you won't forget
I'd think of you as a true believer --
Someone whose love is meant to go deeper
But if you didn't stay up till it rises,
Then for love you're displaying vices -
It would be hard for me to believe you,
and the love words you say, won't be true
Look at how I'm staying awake both ways?
You haven't called for long - it's been many days
I'm looking for words to justify your actions,
they've been words said - with no reactions
Think I should be the one staring at the sun rays
Asking "how bad does he want me, when he prays?"
I won't head to anywhere until I get to know -
If he doesn't care anymore - I would have to go.
