The Special Things You Did For Me
The first time I saw you and you smiled at me
The brightness in your smile I could see
It lit up your face from one side to the other
And the next time I saw you there was another
A simple hello that caught my ear
The warmth of your body when you sat so near
The touch of your lips compressed with mine
The stroke of my hair that made it shine
The gentleness of your touch placed upon my skin
Warmed my body deep within
Then closer we got that one night
Felt good to me and so tight
Our bodies united together as one
We shared in laughter and in fun
Many emotions were felt that night
As I lay next to you on the right
We repeated the night again
And enjoyed eachother until the end
Then it was time for me to go
And to be with you again I didn't know
In my absence from you my mind goes astray
And I wonder what I will do each given day
So I think of the special things you did for me
And it brightens with light and I can see
That life is a special thing and it will always be.
